Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate

Description
GRINDSTED® SSL P 70 VEG is a sodium stearoyl lactylate made from refined fatty acids of vegetable origin.

GRINDSTED® SSL P 70 VEG is based on raw materials which are not of genetically modified origin according to the definition given in EU Directive 2001/18/EEC, Art. 2.

Application Areas
Liquid and powdered coffee whiteners and yeast raised bread.

Potential Benefits

  • Improves emulsion stability, whitening effect and mouthfeel when used with monglycerides in coffee whiteners
  • Increases stability against feathering in coffee whiteners
  • Combines dough strengthening and crumb softening
